My two 30 second adverts for the 'life of music' intend to show two different characters that represent two different social groups, one in each advert. I will try to be subtle with the different representations of the two characters as to fit the genre of my advert, i will differentiate them using their backgrounds through a varying different number of shots. Because my adverts sub-genre is a reality music competition i will use intertextuality to appeal to the E4 audience and the age demographic of 16-24 year olds. The humour will be brought about through the intertextuality of the music industry. I will use tracking shots to follow the life of the two characters and show their different social classes. Their will be dialogue that will be used in the talking head aspect in the second advert that will tell the audience about the life of the two characters.
In terms of sound i intend to use a soundtrack with the first advert that will sync with the video of instruments and will fade out towards the end of the advert through the audio effect of exponential fade. Then there will be a voice over to reinforce the idea of reality TV shows because that is a typical feature of many reality shows. In the second avert I will use dialogue spoken by the characters to give an insight to their social classes. I will use natural lighting to create the natural and real life of the characters to make it seem relateable to the audience.

I will use an obvious exaggeration of the music industry and
therefore not being misleading so I can adhere to the ASA regulations. I will
use a logo to introduce a brand identity. The adverts will be interlinked
through the theme of the music industry.
